It’s Monday again… YAY!
Monday’s get me seriously excited. They are like a breathe of fresh air. As the busy weekend comes to an end and Monday peers its head over the horizon, I exhale in anticipation of the week that lies ahead.
As wife and a mother it is very important to plan especially with young children. Mondays give me the opportunity to make a plan for the week. They give me hope and determination for success in what can sometimes seem like chaos and disorganisation. Even a superhero can’t do everything, so a new week enables me to try again at the things I was unable to accomplish last week.
With even the most fool proof plan, things may not go exactly the way you planned it to be. An unexpected appointment. A poorly baby or just simply choosing to take time for yourself so you don’t get burned out. These things are all acceptable so I’m learning not to be too hard on myself when I don’t achieve all I set out to. Encouraging yourself isn’t always the easiest thing to do. I’m usually my worst critic, but God always reminds me that He is in control, not to worry and that his plans for me are always better and more important than my own!
So here is my PLAN for the week… (subject to change lol)
1. Finish my blog post due for this week. (Stay tuned and make sure u check it out 😉 )
2. Do some arts and crafts with Soraya (my beautiful but over active 2 year old daughter)
3. Get up at 7 am everyday.
4. Start expressing my breast milk.
5. Take time out to relax and read my bible!
So… here’s to a FAB week! I hope u accomplish all you set out to, if not there’s always next week Monday to start all over again!
